Open BBQ and Swim Party
Tuesday evening we will enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner and swim party will be held on the Adelson Campus and home of the DSI.
Student Fun Night at the Adventuredome
On Wednesday evening, all interested students may enjoy the Adventuredome at Circus Circus. This is an indoor amusement park and very popular with all ages. A pizza dinner will kick off this fun event. Group ticket prices will be available.
Suzuki Faculty & Teacher Dinner
Suzuki Faculty and Teacher Trainees will have a chance to enjoy the dinner buffet at the Suncoast Hotel and lively discussion. Bring your ideas and questions. If you have special events or unique qualities in your studio, we want to hear about them!
Free Night – Monday Evening
Enjoy a night off to see the sights, practice or catch up on your sleep!
Thursday is T-shirt Day!
Wear your DSI t-shirt and jeans. Have your shirt autographed by all your new DSI friends and teachers.
Lunchtime Presentations
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we will have noontime presentations for all to enjoy. Plan to attend – these will be true musical treats!
DSI Store
We will be hosting a store featuring guest vendors that will offer such things as Suzuki books and CD’s, supplemental sheet music, stationery and gift items, and goodies to eat.
Parent Discussion Group
Parents have the opportunity to meet each afternoon for 50 minutes for a parent discussion group. Topics will include: Practice tips and games for every age, general Suzuki Philosophy, teacher and parent support, how to help at home and in the lesson, SAA membership, and much more.
